Golden sits between the Rockies and the Purcells, with six managed riding zones and enough variety to make choosing where to ride part of the fun.
The West Bench Trail lays out a dedicated groomed route for beginners, families and anyone who simply loves a good trail ride. Quartz Creek is the familiar favourite, where the groomed trail climbs to a warming cabin before riders fan out into the surrounding terrain.
Then there’s Gorman and Silent Pass, where the trail is really just the beginning. Bowls open beyond ridgelines, meadows disappear around corners and there’s usually another piece of country worth going to see.
You could ride Golden for the first time or the fiftieth and still have somewhere left to point the sled.
