In summer, Sicamous is defined by water. Come winter, deep takes on a whole different meaning.
From the shores of Shuswap and Mara lakes, the Monashees rise into the snow country that has made Sicamous a familiar name among mountain riders. Four established riding zones spread out around town, each with groomed access, a warm-up cabin and its own personality.
The question isn’t whether to ride. It’s which way to point the truck. Eagle Pass brings the steep-and-deep alpine. Blue Lake opens into broad meadows and playful terrain. Owlhead ducks into glades, while Queest offers smooth trails and big views.
The laid-back lake-town vibe doesn’t disappear with summer. Sicamous takes sledding seriously, but après stays casual. Show up for dinner in your bibs. You’ll fit right in.
