The Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail is one of the most famous trail networks in North America. This volunteer-maintained trail system is hundreds of kilometers in length, and meanders through terrain from 70 Mile House to Barkerville.  This is a wilderness experience multi-season trail network that is sure to impress with breathtaking views, scenic stops, and ample opportunities to view wildlife.

The South Chilcotin Coast also combines numerous family friendly trail adventures with epic alpine riding from the Gold Bridge side to the Lone Goat split. Lone Goat is by far the most sought out destination for those seeking big alpine adventure on the glaciers.

 It is important to support those who maintain and preserve the riding areas in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast.  These clubs will be your greatest resource when enjoying the winter backcountry.

INTO THE ZONE

YANKS PEAK

Rising to 6200 ft, Yanks Peak invites riders to trace the footsteps of 1860s miners, boasting a rich history of Gold Rush prosperity. Accessible from Barkerville Historic Town via Proserpine Trail or from Keithley Creek in Likely to the South, this cherished family riding zone, with its well groomed trails, hosts a myriad of beloved winter events annually and is a great place to start your Cariboo Chilcotin riding experience

GOLDRUSH SNOWMOBILE TRAIL

The Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail travels the historic traverse many men made in the 1850's in search of the ultimate motherlode. Today, riders can travel the 463 km trail linking the communities of Clinton, 70 Mile House, 100 Mile House, Likely, and Wells, BC.

GROUNDHOG LAKE

Experience awe-inspiring views of Mount Agnes during a leisurely 29-kilometer ride suitable for the whole family, ending at a snug warm-up shelter beside the serene waters of Groundhog Lake. Accessible either through Barkerville or from Wells, this scenic trail promises a memorable adventure.
