REVELSTOKE: SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Revelstoke BC is hailed as one of the greatest snowmobile destinations on the planet for several reasons. Early season snowfall is consistent in Revelstoke, with riders from around the world flocking to ride the deep dry powder as early as the month of November. It has become a tradition for many snowmobilers from the United States to plan their first ride of the season on their Thanksgiving break. The “Revy Reset” is really a thing. This phenomenon is when an individual goes to sleep after a great day of riding, only to wake up to 2-3 feet of fresh snow that has fallen overnight, lending ample opportunity to ride fresh untouched powder on your trip.
Revelstoke boasts something for everyone, from family friendly trail systems, to high alpine riding, epic tree riding, and even chute climbing for more adventurous riders. With trail systems reaching higher elevations it is common for riders to enjoy warm sun and bluebird skies, while those in the townsite are socked in by fog.
The town of Revelstoke boasts an abundance of excellent restaurants, a movie theater, bowling, a community pool, train museum, ski hill and even more for the entire family to enjoy. Many visitors bring their entire family to enjoy the eclectic culture and activities in Revelstoke, even if they do not snowmobile. A vacation destination for the whole family! The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, established in 1968, is the backbone of all things snowmobiling in Revy. The club promotes the safe and responsible use of snowmobiles and encourages all snowmobilers to practice environmental awareness while using the backcountry. They also promote avalanche awareness for snowmobilers and generously contribute to the efforts of Avalanche Canada.
