EXPLORE THE WILD, UNTAMED WILDERNESS OF VANCOUVER ISLAND.

Often described as the Hawaii of Canada, Vancouver Island boasts much more than sandy beaches and mild temperatures, especially if you are a snowmobiler. Literally riding from sea to sky, most riding elevations are around 3000 feet and offer a variety of terrain options to choose from.

Impeccably maintained trail systems, meadows, plateaus, and even some big mountain boondocking, this hidden BC gem is a destination you won’t want to miss especially if you love consistent snowfall, and mild temperatures.

A typical Island snowmobile season starts in mid-December and continues until at least the end of April, with some years providing opportunities to ride into June. Primary riding areas include Mount Washington, Mount Adrian and Bacon Lake. It is important to support those who maintain and preserve the riding areas on Vancouver Island. These clubs will be your greatest resource when enjoying the winter backcountry.
