Do you have adequate Avalanche Training?

As a snowmobiler its vital that you understand avalanche risks and train in avalanche avoidance, what equipment you need and how to use it in the event you need it.

Black Tusk Snowmobile Club recently ran a Level 1 Avalanche Safety Course at their fantastic facilities on Brohm Ridge. Check out this video from Dave Norona at NoronaLife.com which is packed with useful information and shows what an informative (and fun) day was had by all. Digging snow pits, understanding the snow pack, using your beacons correctly and more.
